As I take part to a painting challenge, I'm trying to focus on my diverse By Fire and Sword projects. Some months ago, I bought the skirmish force of Alexander Potiomkin, a Muscovite commander who fought against a Swedish army in 1658.

So, I have finished my first two units last week.
A unit of border dragoons. Well, dragoon is just a name, as they don't have any horse to meet the enemy. Their poor equipement is well reflected on the miniatures who wear ragged tunics.

And some proud Don Cossacks. Unlike the previous unit, they are real dragoons, so I will have to paint 8 bases of mounted Cossacks.
